Marla O’Brien brings passion, persistence, and a personal touch to every real estate journey she guides. After a 35-year career as a federal employee specializing in logistics, Marla retired to Cape Coral, fulfilling a longtime dream after years of vacationing in Southwest Florida. But retirement didn’t slow her down, it opened the door to her true calling: helping people find the perfect place to call home.

 

With more than 4 years of experience in real estate, Marla specializes in residential moves, including military relocations, first-time buyers, waterfront living, new construction, and luxury properties. Her background in logistics where she managed complex moves, problem-solving, and working with people from all walks of life prepared her to navigate even the toughest real estate challenges with calm determination and tenacity.

 

Marla’s clients describe her as friendly, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond. She treats every buyer and seller as a future friend, listening carefully to their needs and working tirelessly to make their vision a reality. When she’s not helping clients, Marla enjoys volunteering with the Red Cross and her church, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. An animal lover, she’s had everything from dogs and cats to horses, sugar gliders, and even potbelly pigs as pets over the years. Her favorite local spots include Sanibel’s Lighthouse Beach, Ft. Myers Beach, and Twisted Lobster for a good meal. Marla believes there’s a perfect home out there for everyone, and sometimes all it takes is vision (and maybe a little paint) to turn a house into a dream home. With her knowledge, dedication, and personal approach, she is proud to help her clients write the next chapter of their lives here in Southwest Florida.
