About Alex Herrera

With a career rooted in service, discipline, and leadership, Alex Herrera brings a unique and powerful perspective to the Southwest Florida real estate market. After serving in the United States Marines and dedicating 18 years to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, including 15 years as a lead training advisor at the Bergen County Police Academy, Alex built a reputation for integrity, mentorship, and high-level communication. He later expanded his expertise into cybersecurity consulting, further sharpening his analytical and problem-solving skills.

Today, Alex channels that same commitment to excellence into real estate, where he specializes in residential properties across Cape Coral and the surrounding Southwest Florida area. With nearly two years of experience, he focuses on waterfront, new construction, and luxury homes, helping families relocate from across the country and around the world to one of Florida’s most desirable coastal communities. 

Having lived in Cape Coral for several years with his wife and three children, Alex offers clients more than just market knowledge, he offers true local insight. From understanding flood zones and insurance considerations to evaluating canal depth for boating access, he guides clients through the nuances that make this market unique. 

Alex’s approach is simple but impactful. He believes every successful transaction starts with a relationship.
